Samantha Goodell
Certified Nurse Midwife
Hi there, I'm Sam – I'm looking forward to meeting you and your family! In the meantime, I'll tell you a little about myself!
I'm a Certified Nurse Midwife based right here in Wichita, Kansas. Born and raised in the Sunflower State, I’m grateful life brought me full circle—back home to serve the community that shaped me.
My journey into midwifery began as a labor and delivery nurse, where I spent about seven- eight years supporting families through some of their most meaningful moments. In 2022, I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Baylor University, and since 2016, I’ve had the honor of attending well over 2,000 births. My experience spans low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, neonatal intensive care, postpartum support, and nearly every kind of birth setting—from homes to hospitals and birth centers.
I created Miracle Moments Midwifery with one goal in mind: to offer choice. I believe women deserve safe, compassionate, and personalized care—wherever and however they choose to give birth. Home births and birth center deliveries hold a special place in my heart. There’s truly nothing more beautiful than watching a mother bring her baby into the world, surrounded by love and calm.
I’m especially excited to have opened my very own birth space right here in Wichita, featuring two cozy, fully equipped birthing suites designed to feel like home—safe, serene, and supportive. My vision in creating the birth center was to offer a space where families feel empowered, respected, and cared for through every stage of their birth journey.
When I’m not catching babies, you’ll usually find me outdoors—fishing, hiking, paddleboarding, camping, gardening, or just soaking up nature. I have two cats, no kids (yet!), and a big love for life and all the adventures it brings.
Thanks for taking the time to get to know me. I can’t wait to meet you.

Certified Nurse Midwife
Hello! I’m Kaidynce, and I’m so excited to get to know you!
I am a Certified Nurse Midwife from a tiny town near Wichita, and I feel incredibly honored to be serving the community I love.
My passion for caring for women and babies started at a young age. As a little girl, I was fascinated by pregnancy, birth, and learning how to care for newborns. That curiosity continued to grow and eventually led me to pursue nursing.
While in nursing school, I began working in the NICU and transitioned into a NICU RN role after graduation. While I loved caring for each of my tiny patients, I always felt like there was something more I was meant to do.
I discovered that “something” when my aunt invited me to attend her midwife-attended homebirth. Watching the way her midwife supported her, honored her choices, and walked alongside her during such an incredible moment completely changed my life. I fell in love with midwifery that day, and after much prayer and encouragement from my husband, I applied to midwifery school.
On the other side of that journey, I can confidently say I am even more passionate about midwifery than I ever imagined. I feel honored to walk alongside women during some of life’s biggest moments and believe every person deserves to feel seen, supported, and empowered in their care.
Whether you are seeking support with women’s health, infertility, preconception, pregnancy, birth, or postpartum care, I am excited to be part of your journey and provide care that is individualized to you.
When I’m not doing all things midwifery, you’ll find me spending time with my best friend—my husband. I love soaking up the sunshine, going on adventures with family and friends, getting lost in a good book, and ending the day with a relaxing bath.
I can’t wait to meet you!
